A multicultural tour-de-force, "Another Day" by Israeli percussionist & producer Sangit blends elements of rock and Middle Eastern music into an electric new sound. Sung in English, Arabic and Hebrew, and featuring musicians from the Middle East, Europe and Africa, "Another Day" reflects a new direction in music that unites people of different backgrounds and beliefs to create a hopeful vision of the future.
This is the third installment in the Sangit "Studio Sessions" series, a multi-participant musical art project that combines power and emotion with the rhythms of different languages and cultures.
Among the participating artists are singer Sharon Azarya, singer and oud player George Yusuf Simaan (Ehud Banai) and many others.
All the pieces were recorded, filmed, and edited by Sangit himself in an unconventional production form in which the music is written during the process of recording as each artist comes to the studio with their own ideas and expressions.
